   my uncle used too have such white dotted marks behind neck. It used to grow up and enlarge leaving a white portion of skin and it was easily visible because his normal skin colour was brown. Consulting skin specialist and applying ointments along with having some tablets made him recover from that probelm. But the scars continued to be there, so he had to apply creams and sandalwood paste over it to make the skin regain normal colour

   I have certainly woken up with mysterious scratches on my face before, and so have a number of people I know, such as my sisters and ex-boyfriends.  I can't be 100% sure of all cases, but I would say most of the time it's probably yourself who did it.  I've witnessed my sister thrash around in a nightmare and scratching herself on her arm by accident.

   I have awaken with mysterious scratches on my back and all over back over the years.  It could have been from me scratching my back in my sleep or SOMETHING ELSE.  I keep an opened mind where the paranormal is concerned.  I am sure there is more to this universe than what we can see with our physical eyes.

   well when we got up in the morning from sleep then sometimes we find some mysterious scratches........but we cannot directly relate it with paranormal or something like that........ reason may be while sleeping we itch our face and when we are in sleep we sometimes doesn't even remember that we went to bathroom in night....or it may also be caused due to rubbing our face on pillows...... our facial skin is very delicate......

   When I was a very young child, me, my mother, and a friend of hers were driving back from a vacation through saskatchewan and into alberta. My mothers says that the last thing she remembers is a sign saying something like 1000 miles to Edmonton. After this sign everyone apparently blacked out and woke up parked on the side of the road, in front of a sign saying 50 miles to Edmonton, with the passenger door hanging wide open. My mom discovered that there was light scratches completely covering everyones backs. Never explained.
