In a holiday trip do you like roaming place to place or resting in a particular place?

Can I say that it depends?
If I need a relax - one place is good (but probably 3 days max)
From then on, I need to roam.
Boredom seeps in too easily I guess...
    and you?

I prefer exploring one or two interesting areas thoroughly. Give me one city, one island, one national park.

It's less stressful than trying to see an entire region in a week, and you'll go home with fewer worries about all the sights you missed.

It can be both, it really just depends on who I am on vacation with and where we are vacationing. It is nice to do both.

When I first began traveling I would race from place but in the end all I saw was the inside of a vehicle or aircraft.
Now I like to take my time in a place.  If I like where I am I will stay awhile, if not I'll move on.  Last year I went to Cambodia's Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples and I planned to stay 4 nights.  I loved it so much I extended my stay to 14 nights!

I usually do things differently on a repeat visit. The first time I vacation somewhere, I have to do all the must-sees (the things I would kick myself for not seeing if I never made it back), so I roam quite a bit. On the second or subsequent visits, I slow down and delve deeper into specific areas.
