Well, when G-d said that He made man in His image, does it really matter what race you are?

I believe that G-d looks at the heart, as He said. So what if she was Cushite, Shemite or whatever, G-d had a purpose, through many people it was fulfilled; right down to the birth of His Son, Yeshua ha Meshiach! Now, He wants to use you and I to tell the world: "For G-d so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever (that means you and I, because G-d is no respecter of persons) believes in Him/Jesus (virgin birth, death on the cross, resurrection and return) will not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

from my observation, it's more logical that man created God from his own image=)

Salvation has nothing to do with race.   Everyone of us has the opportunity to accept God's gift regardless of our color, our gender or our heritage.   What gets in the way of our decision is sin, which blocks our openness to this message of Love.  Every race defines who they are by their heritage.  Every race will define their own god based on their heritage, their history, and the impact other races have had on them.   What matters really is the way race gets in the way of our decision to believe in God's perfect message.

God created man and He does look upon the heart. No matter what your race is, you are still born of the human species known as man! In reference to Go Writer's comment...yes God told the Israelites to marry within their own tribes. The reason for this was to keep them from straying from Him. Marrying outside of their faith would lead them to idol worship (which happened frequently).
