Should Christian Singles date non-Christians?
Some people may disagree with the idea of young christian singles dating other non-Christians. Their rationale is that both persons need to be child of God. If both persons are not child of God, there is a possibility that while one is trying to honor the word of god, the other might be trying to please the non-Christian world! However, others might argue that it is perfectly okay!
I think it is okay to date a non-christian because love has nothing to do with religion. The individuals involve is what matters and 4 d fact that somone is a christain dose not make him better than the non-christian.
It isn't that the Christian is "better" but their focus is different than the non Christian..ones faith should influence them.
the bible says the non Christian will drag the Christian Down... A real Christian will not marry a non Christian because it is offensive to our God. Look at the old testament and see what happens when God's people married heathens.
God has some very nasty things to say about non christians, as did Jesus, shouldn't that be taken in to account?
A young Christian should not date a non-Christian. Why? More than likely the non-Christian will turn the Christian away from the faith, and even if they didn't turn them they could pursuade them to do things they probably wouldn't do.
No. The infidels might corrupt the Christians by enticing them to fornicate or blaspheme. Of course, OTH, that would be a good test of the Christians' faith to see if they could resist temptation.
Isn't religion stupid?
It is gods perfect will that two people carry the same load. If a household be divided against itself how can it stand? Be not unequally yoked. Come out and be ye separate from the unclean thing and i will recieve you, says the lord.
The problem today is that people get too close to sin and they play near it. The days of hating the sin and loving the sinner are long gone, indeed it seems the norm is to tollerate and even sometimes love the sin and the sinner. In this case the latter sounds pretty close to home, but forget her or him and be not unequally yoked, when God decides that you should marry (which is the norm actually) then you will, you need not rush god or try to make him work according to your expectations. You need to press onward and forget any hinderance or stumblingblock and await gods PERFECT will in your life. Sometimes this course of action actually pulls the sinner toward you but you need to uphold the laws and advice of god and NOT downplay everything because we live in a period of grace. Grace can be abused when we reflect on gods love and exclude his hatred of sin.
In a nut shell. NO. Do not do this thing. Get thee far hence and Go for the GOlD. Another in gods appointed time will come along and you and her can sit by the fireplace and discuss scriptures till the wee hours of the morning then make love till dawn and pray till noon.... a much better scenario than strifing with the ungodly.. If you set the example she or he may follow and be saved, (then let him her sit in church for a year to become established in god) because really the whole word groans to see a christian do the godly, right thing.
This is a classic case of "fleshly desires". No satan here folks.
The Key word is "Christian".
If you are a Christian then you serve "God" and his orders as given in the Bible which is your Guide and Rule book..
Not Opinions.
Since the Bible says Clearly:
2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
The Answer for Christians is : NO.
Now for what Unsaved people do... that is there own prerogative.. they do whatever their own conscience dictates... Since they make their own decisions.. You could say that they are their own gods.

Does anyone know any person; a friend, neighbor, sibling, acquaintance, work mate e.t.c who is not a Christian? In the light of the Christmas mood and spirit, what gift do you think is best to share with such a person?

Personally, I really don't see what gives non-believers the right to criticize and verbally hurt innocent religions who want to do nothing but help spread peace, love, and do charity work for the poor. After much personal researching I've done, I've determined these 3 false excuses that they use so...
