Why do those who favor gun control feel compelled to lie about everything they post on the subject?
After all, the research is out there for anyone who is willing to look that shows their unwillingness to accept the truth.
well, such people are aggresive and like violence nd arguments. hence, they feel compelled to lie to create a situation which promotes arguments, verbal fights nd domination of the agressive
I realize this is a rhetorical question, but it is so true. I think the answer is evident in thier mentality in the first place... Understand, you are dealing first and foremost with individuals who are scared and think that everyone else should be scared as well. Instead of educating themselves, they feel we should all hold hands and cry out for the meanies to leave us alone. The fine line between pacifism and cowardice cannot be measured until it isn't your life on the line, but rather, a defenseless loved one, or even a random stranger who cannot defend themselves. Well I, for one, will not hesitate to draw my .45 and dispense with the pleasantries if God puts me in a guardian's position. I value peace, but these jokers are just hiding behind PC rhetoric and idealistic B.S.
I wrote a hub recently on Gun Control and covered two major facts that gun control advocates refuse to state or acknowledge..
1) 95% of all gun crimes are committed by guns that are illegally possessed.
2) About half of the gun related deaths are suicides and those deaths would have occurred because the person committing suicide would find another method or weapon.
Because when the facts don't support your views you have to change them. It's not so much lying as simply changing the definitions of words. Example; land of the free used to mean Americans were free to live, work and make your own fortune. Now it means you can live for free without working off someone else's fortunes.

States who care about their citizens finally have a roadmap on how to hold the people who will sell a gun to just anybody to account. This is thanks to Texas and their oppressive, demeaning anti-choice law.California is passing a law, which Gov Newsom will sign, that allows "Californians...

I just noticed something about the Fast and Furious controversy.Leaving aside the question of whether the operation was a good idea or not (I think not), I noticed that the Left and the Right have both seemed to flip-flop on their usual arguments about gun control. The Left usually wants to restrict...

Politicians, stars, and media folk... there's one resounding theme among those calling for gun control. They are overwhelmingly surrounded by and protected by guns. All these people, from TV anchors to movie stars to the POTUS, send their children to schools that have their own private armed staff....

The shooting in Thousand Oaks is too close to home. I use to work in Thousand Oaks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you means nothing to those who lost loved ones. We are being attacked by domestic terrorism from within by mentally unstable people who have easy access to lethal weapons. Every...
