    What are the best ways to improve grammar and writing?

    What books do you recommend?  Is it ever acceptable to disregard grammar?

    keep writing, get spell check to go over it for you , read other peoples work for the grammar. Looked it up for you, this site should help you.

    To me the best way to improve writing and grammar is from reading novels on a regular basis. Some how the brain retains the language and it is easily transferred into our writing. I try to read at least 2 books a month. It really helps with having interesting conversations with friends and co-workers too!

    Reading it improves vocabulary and if you like to write it will give ou ideas.
