I'm sorry to hear about your pain.  There are lots of things you can do to heal yourself.  Some take more time and skill than others.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by heal yourself or what is the nature of your problem, but there are first aid approaches you can take such as applying cold or hot compresses to your knee.  There are also physical therapy exercises you could find out about.  If you're thinking about trying meditation or spiritual healing, I'm not sure how long it would take to be healed. I'd suggest that you contact a practitioner or expert in the particular type of healing, or at least that you read more online about the specific approach you want to use.

I hope you can ease your pain soon.

Since every injury/person is unique there is no set method, experimentation  is required.
Have you learned to activate the relaxation response?
Do you understand how the placebo effect works?
I have no idea if those two functions are vital but they do help. Since pain hurts I'm in favor of using every tool available to get rid of it.

So you have a knee problem, if it is not actively generating pain signals you have to stimulate it. Standing up straight on a hard floor in your bare feet weight evenly distributed for 10 minutes should do it. Once you have an active signal close your eye lids and turn all your attention on that signal feel it, focus on it. How do you focus on it? Same way you focus on an external object. As a baby you had to learn to focus your eyes to see the external world. Same process apply your self to the task or suffer for ever, your choice.

What you are going to see depends on what's wrong. Simply allowing the pain signal to be processed and getting your active mind out of the way of your built in healing system could solve the problem. The main problem is that healing system is limited, it cannot line up ripped muscles or change the tension of muscles that are locked. So you are going to have to do what ever is required. Once ripped muscles are lined up your healing system fuses them back together. In a very real sense you do not heal anything you merely assist a built in system to do it's job.

How long? How much damage has been done? How many  complications are there? How much time and effort do you apply to the task?

In general this equation is the best description
number of injuries + severity of injuries + elapsed time - effort = healed
Fresh injuries can be fix real fast if you know what you are doing. Old injuries seem to take forever. When I learned this process I was 100% crunched, take a sheet of paper and hold it vertically twist the top one direction and the bottom in the other. While maintaining the twist gently crush it into a ball. Smooth it out flat, see all those lines, that's what I would of looked like from injuries and complications. 23 years later and I have not fixed everything yet.

I am a Reiki Master and its a form of healing, but we all have healing gifts and can heal ourselves...Firstly rub your hands together so that they are warm , use clear intent and ask The Universe to send you healing with the good of all concernd and specify the area, Place hands on knee and visualise the energy and healing working, do this as an when u feel needed..This can be used all over the body and u can send the healing to others to..by use of your mind, Everything is energy ( u can say it in ur mind) The Power of the Mind is so great, so the Thoughts u put out there become and manifest into reality , Change the way you think and being positive as much as possible, its tricky at first but with patience it will come naturaly...If it does persist then have it checked, but healing will excellerate the healing process and it will heal quicker..I hope this is clear for u....x jojo
