Why do you wake up in the morning?

What keeps your emotional motors gyrating? What motivates you?

    The anticipation of chocolate.

I'm a communicator. Some of that communication is with myself; I'm fine with introspection. I'm one of those lucky people who is never bored. I work on novels and short stories, I write articles about things that interest me. I argue about stupid things on myriad forums and blogs, and here on HubPages. I look forward to these interactions.

i spend time with my wife, my friends, and (when I can) my eldest daughter. I would spend time with my youngest daughter, but she lives thousands of miles away.

Those are the things which motivate me.

I wake up because I look foward to another day to work on my appearance a bit. Clean up some loose eyebrow hair and figure out what to do with my hair today. Sometimes I mess around with my hair.

    1. Since times immemorial our body clock is programmed to begin our day in the morning as the start of the day embarks with light.  Earlier due to lack of light the day's activities began with the first rays of the sun
    2. In keeping with this tradition we conclude everyday by taking inventory of work accomplished and start a new day with a resolute desire to accomplish all unfinished work the following morning.

I wake up in the morning for doing something new. Not, matter in which field like computer, home or for my country.

I motivate everyday myself, not dependent on other sources (mostly). whenever I feel low self confidence or self-doubt, I reading motivating books

Love of family, life, and my work, which thankfully includes writing.  Technically, though, without the sweet wake-up call of my young son and wonderful husband, I might just sleep in until noon instead.  Then it would not be morning anymore!
