Who out there heard Rev. Jesse Jackson's comment against the Cleveland Cavalier's owner?

He stated that the owner's complaints of LeBron James' defection to the Miami Heat was like a slave owner complaining over a runaway slave. Jesse, for the last time, please STFU!!!

presumably then, Jesse Jackson isn't allowed to voice his opinion and you are?

I think that in this case, he is unnecessarily helping to WORSEN race relations by passing judgment upon others in a fashion that is both paranoid and alarmist. He has a right to his opinion, but in this case he is inciting racism without any justification that I can see. He should be trying to help mend wounds, not make new ones.

Jesse Jackson should have voiced his complaint without comparing the Cavs owner to a slave owner. Lebron James' race and the race of the Cavs owner was something nobody had even mentioned during this free agency period. For Jackson to inject that into the situation, it just makes everything worse. Oddly enough, I agree with Jackson's other criticisms of the Cavs owner. It was wrong of him to deride James in the press for leaving Cleveland and calling James a quitter. He's just a sore loser, but Jesse Jackson should use a little more tact when expressing his opinions.

Being a black man myself, I must say that Jesse Jackson's comments are way out of line. If LeBron James was a white man, the Cavs owner would've made the same comments. So with that being said, do you think Jesse Jackson would've commented in the fashion that he has then? No. This is a man who was caught saying derrogatory comments about Obama while he was running for President. Jesse should just keep his mouth shut until the day he stops breathing. His views are outdated and for the most part obsolete.

Ok you gotta remember Jesse was around when MLK was around. So with that being said thats probably the first thing that came to mind. Also, Z left and went with the Heat too and I dont recall the Cavs owner saying things like that to him.

While Jesse Jackson is allowed to voice his opinion, he continues to try to keep pulling the race card in every chance he can get. Whether it is his intention or not, people like him are the real reason why racism will never completly die. But then again he has made a living off racism so why would he want it to stop. In my opinion, Jesse Jackson needs to just go away so we dont deal with him anymore.
