   What is a good mother and what do you think when a mother leaves her 8month and 3yrs old home alone?
   
   In Taiwan, there was a mother who left her 3years old and her eight-month old home alone, abandoning them. The kids are left alone for eight days until the father came home from long work week. The father found the eight-month old to be malnutrition and sick. Please list some traits for being a good mother.

   looking at your question and being completely honest a good mother never leaves her children alone especially for such a long time at ages 3 and under one its certainly neglect its hard being a parent but theres no hand book or abc in motherhood if you can put your self in a childs position and how you would want to be loved nurtured and cared for your half way there the only rules are dont do to a child what you wouldnt like done to you i hope this helps

   in the US, I would call child protective services on such a parent.
   Traits of a good mother:
   Attentive
   Caring
   Nurturing
   One who listens to the child, but still has very clear boundaries.
   One who teaches her children how to care for themselves; how to have personal boundaries.
   And a good mother loves her children.

   a good mother is someone the child can depend on for everything, shelter, clothing, food, love, protection, teaching, and someone the child can talk to about their problems. there is much more that makes a mother good.
   a mother,good or not, should never abandon, abuse, or neglect their child.

   The father has already take the kids to the hospital for some care and there are laws in Taiwan regarding the issue. The mother had abandoned the kids and the family could not find her. All I can do is raise some awareness to help and prevent these issues from happening again. Let's hope for the better for kids who need them.
