    The sad answer is yes.  Sad that it has become necessary.  And it takes about 4 weeks to get one.  I found this out when my daughter wanted to go with her class to Canada a few years ago.

    If you are not from Canada then you must have a passport when you are planning to visit the place.

    Yes. Passports are now required.You will probably need a notarized letter from their parents (if you are not the legal guardian) also.
