   An excuse is one of the  most dagerous wepons in the world.
   
   Excuses i believe don't solve problems...they create them.
   How many have walk down that same road.

   If you had a road map, different paths in your life, I'd say and excuse is like putting a wall on one of the roads, you start to limit yourself in what direction you can go because you are kidding yourself.  A reason however, however honest, should be questioned when necessary because things change, and if you find a wall or ecuse, try and tear it down and maximise your options.

   Yes I have made excuses before & I still had to be obedient to God later. It's a miserable life when it's made up of excuses.

   But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; “THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD.” But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? At the first Moses says, “I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUS BY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION, BY A NATION WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WILL I ANGER YOU.” And Isaiah is very bold and says, “I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO SOUGHT ME NOT, I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME.” But as for Israel He says, “All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
   The final verses of chapter 10 offer two excuses for Israel’s rejection of the gospel. Here Paul is seeking to put up the best possible defense for Israel. Like a top criminal lawyer who knows his client is guilty, Paul offers the best defense possible. In spite of his best efforts, and Israel’s best excuses, Israel is found guilty—without excuse. As Paul asks two questions and then gives the answers from the Old Testament itself, Israel’s guilt is clearly shown.
   This passage of Scripture makes one thing clear: If we’re going to receive from God, we’re going to have to do the same things Abraham did – consider not, stagger not, give glory to God, and be fully persuaded.
   * * *A person who staggers or wavers in faith will not receive anything from God. James 1:6,7 – “(6) But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. (7) For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.”
