I have a hub that says is elsewhere. How do I find out where it is?
Hi All
I was looking through my stats (my account) and I've got a message saying something about that the content of a particular hub being duplicated.
How can I find out where my work is elsehwere?
Thanks
A good place to start is to do a google search for part of the hub, using quotation marks.
So, pick a sentence from the hub, put quotation marks around it("") and search for it on Google. Repeat this a few times if you do not find the duplicate content right away or get no results.
If that doesn't work, your best bet would be to use Copyscape, which costs $.05 a search and can search based off of the URL/Text.
If you go here: http://hubpages.com/my/copied
My account >> copied hubs
it will show you where the duplicate has been found.
You should be able to find it in your my account section other wise ask a HP admin

One of my articles randomly went nuts on Facebook last night, according to my traffic stats. I'm VERY curious, where the root of this is coming from - is there a way for me to find out where on Facebook my article was linked or must it remain a mystery to me?

One of my Hubs has suddenly started to receive Facebook traffic - so someone has added it as a link - how do I find where it is on Facebook? Just intrigued to see who shared it!

How do I find out if a Hub is indexed by search engines?I've noticed other Hubbers mentioning that they check to see if their hubs are indexed by the search engines like Google. How do I do this? Sorry if the answer is painfully obvious, I'm just not very savvy when it comes to this stuff! Thanks

How on earth would anyone find out if ones hubs are being reused? For example Isabella found her hub copied and pasted on another site. Checking this out I saw quite a few on that chickies site that I've seen and had read on hubpages such as Jimmy's, rb101182's, VioletSun just to mention a few....

If any content of the hub is being copied by someone and used elsewhere, its not the fault of hubber. This is nice that HP is motivating hubbers to file DMCA to the concerned site and take appropriate action, who is going to waste time to fight with the copyright violators. HP has witnessed...
