You are an individual, so you can respect the culture of both parents, just one or neither.

Good question.Which one are you convence to live?Let God be your direction in life. You can't live your life for someone else nor be expected to serve 2 God's nor 2 religions. You may have to make a separate decison if become a Christian. When you lieve this world yo u will have to face God for yourself.

Culturally speaking, of course you have to respect both your parents of what they become. But if faith or say religion is what makes them separate, well it's really you who has the last say or decision to take side whether mom or dad or as others might suggest, keep your faith inside you.

All culture should be respected, and that's much easier to do when it's understood...there is no one better to teach someone and help them understand than someone who was raised in a particular culture, and parents are in a unique position to really impart the norms and values of a culture on their children. I think that all the cultural diversity a family can offer the younger generation should be made available to them, it will all benefit them in the future.
