Waltzing to the Blue Danube in the middle of a big town square in Vienna, Austria on New Years Eve 1998.  I was there on a college trip, it was the only time I've spent New Years anywhere outside the U.S., and it was a beautiful contrast to the crazy/unruly crowds in New York City.  In Vienna, everyone waltzes at midnight.  Streets full of people waltzing -- it was magical!

The most memorable foreign city for me is in Paris. That is memorable because I am with my girlfriend during that time.

Seeing dolphins swimming past me less than a metre away. So near I could touch them...that was amazing! I did that at Bunbury, Western Australia smile http://hubpages.com/hub/My-ytip-to-Pert … -Australia
