You have to be professional at both wine and blogging.

The best thing to do would be to continue studying wine as well as writing/blogging. Start your own blog or website and begin posting articles or blog posts.

You can try to earn money from Adsense or affiliate marketing, or some other type of advertising, or you can simply use this as a chance to get better and have a portfolio (or both).

Once you feel you've got a decent backlog of articles of high quality, start searching job boards for blogging jobs. Naturally you'll want to look for companies hiring wine bloggers, but don't discount the general blogging jobs as well because they might let you write a general blog or may let you pick your own topic.

    Good luck.

Depending on how often you want to blog, allot certain days in which you blog. On those days, go to a fancier restaurant and order a glass of wine, choosing a different one each time. Make sure to take notes of your thoughts of the wine while drinking it to include in your blog. Before you sit down to write your blog, do some research on the particular wine you had tasted that day. Some ideas would be:
    -The wines history
    -How it's made
    -Where it is from
    -When it started being produced
-Foods that go along with the wine.

Why not include a recipe or two of meals that are made with foods that compliment the wine. This presents an opportunity to affiliate your blog with other blogs that write about recipes. It is win-win.... You would advocate their recipes and blog, while they do the same for you.
