What happens if you follow yourself on Hubpages?

Yeah, I know it sounds daft, but I was just updating one of my hubs and I almost clicked on the 'follow' button without thinking. It's been a long day. But I wonder what would happen? Would you go back in time? Start to fade away like Marti McFLy? Or maybe you'd just keep looking over your shoulder in fear of the day that you see someone who looks like you sneaking along behind you in the shadows.

The time space continuum will collapse and you will be sucked into a black hole ... JK....I dont think anyone checks that as long as you know that you are following yourself which would I guess just increase your following by one other than that, not much of an effect.

    Is it a sin?
Why did it... what did you mean?
    You following you...
    It's something new...
Haven't tried yet... where have you been?
    Done by a few...
    To you it's due...
Go and follow you... it's not a sin!

Well if you have multiple accounts it wouldn't be so bad following from the other account. But following you as yourself that is another matter. I would love to see that. How would you do that anyway?

I fell in the black hole and I don't know the way out. I need a seminar on how to unfollow myself.

Plainly, you've never had a good sit down with your mother or father. As anyone who has knows, liking yourself will result in hairy palms and bad breath. Also, by exhausting your "likeyness", you won't have the stamina to maintain a deep and lasting relationship - which chicks dig.
