Why do Atheists always go on the wrong way of thinking?
Has anyone ever claimed that 'God' can be perceived through our five senses?
All of our spiritual books claim that, God is NOT Physical but Spiritual(lacking material body or form or substance)!
Now, the important question is, can we expect to get a "material proof" for an "immaterial" or Spiritual(lacking material body or form or substance)?
Definitely. If you truely believe and send love to this non physical being you can sometimes feel love vibrations being sent through your entire body. There is proof all around you and you just need to believe. If you believe then it exists in your life. If you don't believe then it doesn't.
Well Said.
... so why bother believing in him? There's no proof he exists, and even Christians don't believe in COUNTLESS other gods!! Zeus? Buddha? Thor? Neptune? Woden? Vishnu? -- nope, Christians don't believe in them.
"But MY god is DIFFERENT!!", rings the hollow bell of the believers.
Let's start with your asserted fact and see how valid that is:
(All of our spiritual books claim that, God is NOT Physical but Spiritual(lacking material body or form or substance!)
But unless you toss out the New Testament and the bible from the category of "all our spiritual books", we seem to find this little quibble in the book of John about material body:
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth
So, now that we have blown holes in your assertion, what exactly was your question again? Oh, yeah, why do rational people ask for a rational explanation how nothing (no body, form, or substance) can be something (like word becoming flesh and living among us)?
I guess we're just a bunch of nutcases who like to go around making false assertions.
i'm thinking it isn't athiests that go on the wrong way of thinking. the reason religion is based on a spirit is that this can't be positively proven wrong so it's easier to justify. with athiests we understand this and find it humorous that a person can believe in something without any proof what so ever. why do religious people believe in something that has been the cause of so many wars, deaths and misunderstandings.

Why do atheists spend so much time thinking and debating about God?I mean why spend time over something they say they do not believe exists?I don't believe in global warming, maybe a wrote a hub sometime explaining why, but then I moved on.Before I came to faith, I never gave God a thought, why...

OMG! (the "G" stands for Gawd, not God) - what is with these athiests?I am not a youngster. And I am not a believer. But I am envious of the serenity true believers appear to find in their life.Now... don't try to proselytize to me, and don't try to prove your faith is the only truth. It...

Do you believe religion is needed for morality? Is the bible the only guide to morality? If you believe these things, do you really think you would go around commiting crimes and immoral acts if the bible didn't tell you not to? I actually give (most) people more credit than that, don't you? If this...

How is it fair to judge one group by the actions of a few, but not others? For example, there have been Christian people here who paint all atheists the same. they point to the few who put up hateful billboards and say that is an example of how atheists are. We aren't and I find those signs...
