    There are no gods.

However, I understand that many people have a need to believe and if you harm no one because of that, I think it's fine.  If it helps you to think some god is watching over you, what harm is that?  You are wrong, but so what - we are all wrong about many things.

But if you use your ideas of what your imaginary friend wants to justify hurting others, I don't like you.

Yes. That's the answer the nuns gave, and it's the one that makes sense once you get into quantum physics.

It is believed that there is only one God throughout the universe, but God is God and God can be seen in many different ways. So humanity has seen God as the Father of everything, the Son in our lord Jesus Christ and the Holy spirit which we can say is that part of God that resides on earth.

I like to look at this question in this respect. God is one. Or two. Or three. Hmmm. Okay, maybe its hard to understand. St. Patrick used a three leaf clover to help the Irish people to understand the Holy Trinity. When he taught them about the Holy Trinity (Meaning the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) being one God in three. He showed that the clover was one clover or one God with yet containing three leaves representing the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One God consisting of many parts.

You can find more information when you read the Epistles Of Paul who gives great wisdom on this very subject. This is in all Holy Bibles. May you find truth. Peace.

There is only one GOD and always will remain ONE ,but He is called by other names
such as : Elohim, Melchizedek, Christ, Jehovah etc.

E.g. you are one person but am sure you have more than one name but at the end of the day there can only be one you.

The catholic teaches that there are three God's if there was i'd be so confused to know whom to pray to.

God say to Moses on the mount I AM THE I AM. He never say we are..... Three God's is a myth of satan and it's what lead people to idolatry etc.
