My views one minute say one thing and then later they say less?

My articles when I ccheck them in the morning it shows my views as being up there then when I look at them later it shows less, that they were taking away and I'mwondering why? Also I've been on hub pages for a little over a year and I'm still not making money why is that?

Dear Friend, Your views will be updated with the previous day's total number of views. If your page get more visitors than previous day's statistics, then your page views will be higher. I hope you can understand the fact.

Disconcerting, isn't it?   Like you GlstngRosePetals, my rating goes up and down like a...well, you know.   93 was my highest ever, 86 my lowest.   I expect it would continue to drop if I'd didn't get in here and answer questions, jump into the forums on occassion.   It seems we can't just 'rest of a laurels' in this site.

    Enjoy your Christmas...

Your views are tabulated initially. Sometime later, possibly intra-day, they are adjusted to reflect real views that don't originate from your computer. If you have been giving 10 hubs a second look, your view count will rise by 10, and this may even appear as rising traffic on individual hubs that you refresh; later on, you'll find that you have less views, because your views have been taken out. If you review your hubs a lot a particular day, this will manifest as surging views, and eventually the more realistic and accurate view count will emerge. A note of caution: Some of these views have a way of never being offset, and you can check, say, in the analytics breakdown of visitors by geographic region that your city is disproportionately represented.

The page views in hubpages stats are on a rolling 24 hours so they go up and down all the time. If you want more accurate page view data you'll need to use google analytics. (Use the help section to find out how to set it up).

Looking at the topics you have written on they are mostly not the kind of things that are going to make money and the ones which could make money such as "Internet money making" will be extremely difficult to do well with because there is such high competition. Also, that particular hub is on the short side and has far too many links in it.

I'd suggest having a look at the best hubs and see what you can learn form them: http://hubpages.com/hubs/best/

Also the learning centre videos are a good resource to help you choose topics and titles that will do well: http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/hubcamp-sf-2/
