I have not been on HubPages that long to make that determination.  I will find out later and let you know,

I am new here, but I can share with you my point of view.

I could definitely follow a Huber even If i disagree  with some of he's writings, but agree on others and enjoy the content. But If I disagree with all he's writings there is no logical reason to follow him/her, other than the rare fact that there could be a funny joker  writing funny hubs about crap that I do not agree with it, but I might like the writing style of the writer, and the funny  hubs.

    Well thanks for the question.

I do not, though I respect their opinions and right to believe as they wish. smile

I like to agree to disagree.  But if someone is a bad writer, or clearly not too bright I would not be inclined to pay them any attention at all.

Those that preach their religion and beliefs in their hubs are definitely not going to have me following them.  I don't need to be "saved" thank you very much.

No, I do not.  I know that that may not be the best strategy for learning a new view, or about the other side of any coin; but I do not seek to complicate my live with arguments.

I only follow hubbers when they cover topics of my interests smile
And even then sometimes I follow hubbers who are doing really well and hope some of their awesomeness rubs off on me...lol

I only follow hubbers if their hubs interest me, if I don't agree then I don't follow but still enjoy reading and hearing other points of view

I never follow hubbers on a tit-for-tat basis, there are some hubbers on here who write poetry who follow me, I have no interest in poetry so I don't follow them, or follow the preachers, or follow those who write about subjects that don't interest me.
I see some hubbers who have a zillion followers, what's the point, it's just numbers like 'friends' on facebook who you've never met and are really just electronic signals on the monitor screen.  I'm trying to work out the advantage to hub pages, that the 'follow' system has.

I follow Hubbers who I consider to be good writers not whether or not I agree with them.

I definitely do follow them because a hubber is entitled to their opinion. Our love for others like us makes us accommodate them despite the differences. Do you always agree with your wife-refer to those who are married? No, and yet you do not chase her out of the house. I love her more for her different opinion which I have to respect.
