is obesity a major health risk these days?
people in north america are getting fatter but is it because were lazy or perhaps because of the chemicals in our food.
Technology is getting so big and is making things easier for us to get things done. You would think because of technology that we would be more fit because we have more time. I guess that backfired we are lazier. Kids are the worse when it comes to getting outside to exercise, but the parents are to blame for obese kids they don't kick them out of the house. They also feed them fast food all the time.
It is because of both thing you said, people are getting more lazy, and food is full of chemicals, fats and etc... Yes it is a major health problem and we need to do everything to stop it, to effectively fight it...
Due to the change in lifestyle and eat habits obesity is one of the major problem that we are facing know
It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. When I was young fat people were rare. Now they seem common. And only an idiot wouldn't recognize the serious health problems it brings about. Ask the average fat person to run 100 yards and that should bring home the point.
As for the cause... it is many things. High levels of sugar and salts in processed foods. The low cost of fast foods and how high in calories they are. The switch to high carbohydrate diets from meat and vegetables. Breads are loaded with sugar and salt. And growth hormones just can't be a good thing.
Huge. No pun intended. It leads to so many serious health problems!
It is the major health concern not only in North America but also Europe, Asia as well. If our doesn't get the necessary workout or exercise, then fat in our body gets accumulated. Main reason obesity is the because of the busy schedule of the people, triggered by laziness. Usually the white collar professionals, who work more than 40 hours a week, they are tend to be fatter. To some extent, chemicals also play a part in obesity. I suggest walking a mile everyday would be a simple workout for everyone to remain healthy and fit.
Without a doubt. It not only effects your health but quality of life too. But (apart from certain instances) it's something that is generally down to the individual to do something about or avoid in the first place. The fact that many aren't shows how the attitude towards life and self responsibility has changed
absolutely. obesity is a major health risk for many years now, and the statistics is still increasing. i don't think it's because they're lazy, that's why they're getting fatter. maybe it's the type of food they eat and the type of lifestyle they have in general as well. not only in north america, obesity is already a global problem today. and it really needs attention due it's health risks.
