   Do you also have the feeling that the time is running away?
   Wherever it runs, it runs fast.
   
   
   I'm getting up in the morning, five minutes later it is dinner time... The same in a week, today is Monday few hours later it is Monday next week...

   Yes, I feel this way too. My 3 yr old keeps me busy and I spend almost all my waking time with her but it feels like the time is slipping away. If feel it both on a daily basis and in the broader scope as the years go by. I think it goes by fast the more I try to fit into it so maybe doing less, it will feel like I have more time.

   The older that I get, the more true this becomes. And in spite of this, I sometimes find myself wishing my life away, counting down the days to something that I am looking forward to. Since the moments are precious, I should be enjoying each one.

   Yes, but the more we rush the faster time passes!   you are right a week can pass in the blink of an eye!  I have made a deliberate attempt to slow down, even though I always have lots to do.
   
   An interesting point! It's when the years start to pass so quickly that it gets worrying....

   My grandmother told me when she was alive that the older you get the faster the years pass. I find this is so true.

   I have the perfect answer for you.
   
   As we become older, starting with say a 1 year old:
   
   A week is 1.92% of your life so far. So a week is a significant portion of time.
   
   For say, a 60 year old: a week is 0.032% of life so far.
   
   Time is a matter of perspective. As we grow older we perceive it differently; which causes the feeling of increasing speed.
   
   Of course, other external factors such as lifestyle and responsibilities can also have an effect on this.

   yes, i have noticed that time is running fast, i get home after work and suddenly its dinner time and then find myself yawning, signaling me that its time to go to bed. I dont like it at all

   Time Flies and God sets the pace. Something to think about.
   
   One must live for the moment. One can only live in today. You cannot go back in time to relive the past for it has passed you by and one cannot live for the future because by the time the future arrives, it is the present, it is today.
