I would be a wolf, their ability to survive as well as their relation to their family is a wonder...sort of the same as me.

I think a black cat that only comes out at night to scurry unnoticed along with the twilight.

I am probably more like a reptile...a snake. Not that I am of the character of a snake but more so like I behave as they do.  Snakes do not move from one point to another until they have received some reasonable assurance that the place they are moving to is better suited to their needs than the place they are leaving. That can be a slow process but for the most part it seems to work for them. I tend to be that way as well...I don't jump ship too quickly.  I like to understand where I am leaving and where I am going first. WB

I don't know what kind of animal would describe my personality, perhaps a prairie dog (i help my community & look out for others) or a tiger (gentle but dangerous). Or a male peacock, sometimes my great self-esteem makes me conceited.

But I wouldn't mind being a giraffe or a polar bear. Penguins have a lot of fun. It'd be cool (no pun intended).

Probably a bunny or a cat. The first prey animal because of my shy demeanour and I usually run away from the source of danger; the other, because of my longing for independence and solitary nature, although I do come back when cuddles are convenient xD

On, bad memories! -- In 7th grade, we had to answer this very question in writing as a report, and many of our conservative parents who read everything we wrote punished us for "wishing to be an animal." The report should have been a fun exercise in imagination - imagination being seen as "communist" in this 1960s Midwest town - like "Just do as you're told and stop thinking/imagining."

What animal would I be? - One that roams free.

I would and have always described myself as a Lioness. I am very loyal, I protect everyone that is close to me or within my reach. I am very loving and nurturing. If I want something that I am very passionate about, I will fight till the end to get it. I am Lioness. A beautiful black Lioness. Who speaks strong words and releases her wrath on those who come for her pack. That is me and I am she.

I would definitely be an owl. Both my husband and I have worked nights for years, and I normally sleep better during daytime. I am a lifelong night owl! I also have a wide range of interests and absolutely love to learn, so the mythical idea of the "wise owl" theoretically fits me very well.
