That all depends on how much you want to spend. If you want a cheaper quieter vacation then you should go in the off season. That would be between October to February. If price isn't an issue or you would like to go when more people are there then between March and September would be a good time. I personally don't like a lot of people. So I do all of my vacationing to resort areas in the off season. Get much better deals that way.
My husband and I went with a couple of friends the beginning of February a few years ago. The weather was beautiful so it was still good for shorts and tank tops and swimming. The nights cooled down a bit and because it wasn't "normal" tourist times and we went to Freeport (which is less popular) we basically had the whole beach to ourselves. It was beautiful!

Thanks to Amazon being 2 months behind, I'll still get a good payout in October. After labor day though my earnings dropped like a rock (as expected) This months payout will still exceed $1200.00.. So during this unseasonal down time is when I edit and write more articles.. Hope HP hangs in there....
