   Yes, I am afraid of dolls, as is my daughter.  The "doll eyes" are frightening.  I didn't realize until my Golden Retriever died one year ago, what that meant until I saw my "Leo" after his death.  The vacant, fixed, dilated pupils telling me he was gone, no longer present in his body.
   
   I've never seen a "doll" inspired horror movie as my imagination scares me enough and I fear I'd never sleep again.
   
   In that same vein, clowns, which many children love, are scary in that same creepy, nightmarish way to both me and my daughter.

   Dolls are creepy. When I was little, my aunt bought me a clown doll that laughed when you pressed it's tummy. I swear it starting laughing in the middle of the night one time and I begged my mom to throw it away because it scared the hell out of me.

   Lol I was and because of the doll in your picture and remember the washable cabbage patch kid, I had the red headed one kinda looked like chucky. Needless to say I hid that doll at the bottom of my toy chest!

   Lol, This question, and the picture are hilarious because Chucky is who made me afraid of dolls. I saw him when I was at the age of four and I thought I was so brave until I had to pass by the basement or go to my toy room where my dolls stared at me lol. I developed a phobia, and use to talk to my dolls so they would not kill me. There was one doll that I passed by that was staring at me from the window of a store, I actually told my mother to buy it because I knew if I didn't it was going to follow me home and kill me (it was a 3 foot doll). I could not be alone with a doll I had to watch its every move to make sure I was safe lol. I even gave them their own birthday parties so they would not get jealous of mines. My friends had a good time coming to them but I did not do it for fun, I did it because I felt like a victim of the killer dolls! I did not get over that fear until 2006...so 18 years of being afraid of dolls (sad shame). The only reason why I could get over the fear was because I moved out of state and most of my dolls were thrown away. I was a tomboy so I did not miss the doll fantasy experiences I was happy swimming in my Ninja turtle pool, making mud pies, playing kick ball, and power rangers with sticks and sheets lol. So, I’m happy to say I am a recovered Killer Doll phobia victim lol.

   Dolls like this scare me; I think anyone who has seen the movie, "The Game" with Sean Penn and Michael Douglas can relate. There's a cameo featuring Daniel Schoor the newscaster and a doll was prominent in that scene.

   Not normally.  but this one is really really scary.  Is this Chucky?  I remember watching a horror movie a long time ago and the doll's name was Chucky and that doll was evil!

    Am I the only one who loves dolls and finds them sweet?    Not long ago I saw online that they actually sell Chucky dolls ( not that Chucky is a doll I'd love or find sweet).  Still,  I wouldn't want to spend the hundred-plus dollars for "him"; but I'd better if someone would buy bring him home, put a little make-up/paint on the "unpleasantness" on his face, and dress him in the right, adorable, little, outfit; he wouldn't be at all scary.   
    
    Chucky is nothing more than a messed up child/doll star.
