I think girls excel more in memorization types of exam simply because, they are into more details than boys. Boys spend little time memorizing and see problem to be solved rather than to contemplate and dissect.
Statistically young girls do better in exams because they mature more quickly. However, girls do worse overall in exams. I believe it's because at a certain age (say, around 12) the focus in girls lives suddenly becomes more superficial things (i.e. appearance, boys, etc) and they stop focusing on their academic progress.
Whenever there is an extended system of evaluation, girls do better. Consistency is the topmost priority and girls are way ahead of boys when the "consistency" factor comes in.
Well at a certain stage girls do lot better than boys. However they are not the one to do the best in overall. Boys go for best results. And those that go become the highest achiever.
Because girls are smarter and much more focused than boys are....guys get distracted by all kinds of things...like girls...
Because girls are smarter than boys and it dosn't change when they grow up.
Schools are tailored to how girls learn. Boys and girls learn differently, and not necessarily because of their interest in the opposite sex, but just because that's who they are. It's like if you tried to give one of our I.Q. tests to someone in an African tribe. They could be very intelligent, but according to our test (which isn't tailored to them) they would fail miserably.
