Grandma- "I'm going to tell your mother to take an insurance policy out on you, because at the rate your going, you won't make it." She said this after she learned I was in an abusive relationship.  I believe that was when I had a shift in my mind about how much I was willing to tolerate emotionally/physically from not only that man, but any man.

Everything has to happen some time, that time is the best medicine to heal the wounds. It made me have more patience with the things around me and hope to accomplish all my desires.

The very best wisdom that was ever shared with me, came from my own Grandfather.  As a young girl, he was assisting me with some school homework.  I thought I knew the answer and looked to him for affirmation.....without telling me the answer, He said, " do you trust your own thinking"?  I did, and my  answer was correct...........

I can't say that it " changed" my life, but it shaped it!  Even today, with kids who are college grads, I ask myself, " do you trust your own thinking"?  Most usually, I do......when I don't, I seek advice and input.

The gift of the word of wisdom is the application of knowledge that God gives you ( I Corinthians 2:6-7). This type of wisdom is a gift which cannot be gained through study or experience and should by no means try to replace them. The gift of the word of wisdom is seeing life from God's perspective.
As a Christian exercises this gift, he begins to develop a fear of the Lord. This is the "beginning of wisdom" according to Proverbs 1:7.

But according to me the word of wisdom is the application of Spiritual Philosophy as the foundation of our faith.

You are as Efficient in doing whatever it is that you want to do in life ,as you are Ready and Prepared to do so.

It is connected with the saying"Look before you leap".

One in possession of money is the true owner. The one that spends it only returned what he owed. I was given this inspiration by the Holy Spirit those days I used to be a gullible spender.

It helped me to keep myself on check about the way I spend money rashly.

The wisest message I ever received, I believe came from God, when I was angry and disappointed with him. It was in one of my darkest moments.

His message was that he needs nothing from me and I need not do anything for him or for his sake as he is the Almighty and all Powerful Being. But I need him and he stand to help me as God unconditionally.  He message healed me and I have a great relationship with him. Any my love to him comes naturally.

Let me communicate this message in another way.  Doing something just for God is like a homeless, and helpless man trying to donate his last 2 cents to Bill Gates.
This grand message has set me free from all religions, especially those fear based religions. I do not need them as God is always in within me.
