How can you tell if god is testing you or is it satan? what should you do?
how do you know if god is testing you or is satan on you..what should you do in each case..? or are they the same thing..?
Trials and tribulation is a measurement and a lesson at the same time.Choice brings consequences that test and inspire our spirits.
The intellect coordinate the matter....good and evil is the outcome.God did not do it.....you made the choice.
Continue to pray and do the right thing. The right thing, the honest thing is what one needs to do regardless of the trial. Just live your live and don't worry about being tested and who is doing it.
Line up what needs to be done with the bible. Knowing the character of God keeps things in perspective. Some cases there is no moral or ethical determination to make... ie. take a job or not. God will reveal His will if you diligently inquire.
Just go with whatever makes you feel good at the time and then later on, if you think you were wrong, you can ask for forgiveness. Unless you've killed someone god HAS to forgive you.
Acutally, if you steal something or fancy your neighbours life-partner god won't forgive you. For that you go to hell, so be careful out there.
The heart of the law is mercy, or if you like forgiveness, love, compassion. Yes. Even for the murderer and adulterer who turns to God.
When God is testing you, you can't control it. Think Abraham, when he had to wait for a son for 25 years, and couldn't do anything about it.
When its a temptation, you can avoid it. It could be satan, or could be your own thoughts. And yes evil exists, if there was no satan, our planet would be perfect. Somebody sends all those thoughts for people to hate each other, kill each other, and do all sorts of evil to each other. But we all have a free will, and we choose which thoughts to follow.
And a lot of times, what we consider temptations from satan, are just our own weaknesses. For instance, when Christians try to start some project and feel like nothing is working out, they tend to think those are obstacles from satan, but in reality, a typical secular business person might feel the same feelings when starting a business.
That which takes you towards the Light is good, and that which takes you away from Light is less good. That which makes you strong is good, and that which makes you weak, is not so good. Wrong temptations is when you are being tested, and wholesome service is perhaps a way towards a Golden Shore. You may call one God and the other Satan. That which gives you abiding joy and inner satisfaction is from God, that which entreats you or tempts you to do wrong, you may call Satan.
Satan is the adversary: A very powerful, clever and sometimes hostile force that preys upon us and utilises our weaknesses to its advantages. Never forget that we can resist!

The Bible says that all one has to do is ask for forgiveness. Now being that, do you think that Satan might have already asked God for forgiveness? Now before you rattle off scripture.....I don't believe...but I could be wrong....that the Bible has nothing to say on that.

How does free will explain or justify the existence of evil? Many Christians have told me that evil is a necessary byproduct of having free will. This doesn't seem to be true to me, given the following thoughts:1. If free will exists in heaven, and evil does not, it is possible to have free...
