Should a pastor preach down on women who don't wear make-up or pants.
I've witnessed a minister who occassionally bashes women who have made a conscious decision to not use makeup or wear pants, because they believe in their conscience that it's wrong.
I can't believe that any man of religion thinks this is any of his business!!!!
Surely all he should be concerning himself with is the state of their souls? Seems to me he's a mite prurient ...
I personally don't believe its wrong to wear make-up and by pants I presume you mean trousers (I'm over the pond :-)) but I do believe in the inalienable right of a woman (or indeed anyone) to do what they believe is right for them, provided it does not hurt anyone else.
If anything shouldn't a pastor be happy about a woman not applying make-up to her face - many pastors I've come into contact with have complained women wear too much make-up these days. As for the pants - is there a dress code? Why is he taking such a keen interest in how the ladies of his congregation are dressed?
I find it too be weird and SO far out of his purview.
It's not a pastor's role to "preach down" on anyone. A pastor's role is to lovingly, humbly guide his congregation in their walk with Father God, and to equip them for reaching others as well as to live successfully.

Do you think women should be allowed or are fit to become preachers/ministers?This has been a sore subject in my family.(I think they should). Some people believe that women do not have a place in religion as a minister or preacher. In the Holy Bible, it talks about women being seen and not heard...

Should Church Pastor's be paid by the Church or work a regular job besides to meet their needs? In the early Church days of the New Testament, the Apostle's worked to provide for themselves so as to not put extra burden on the Christian's they ministered to. How about today? Why don't...

Do you believe Pastors hold the God given authority or carry the ordained right to Judge..I have seen many church leaders cast judgment upon members of there congregation for backsliding and/or sinning, do these religious leaders hold a higher authority the individual who was judged?
