Being an affiliate marketer online for a few years now I get hundreds of emails into one of my accounts on a daily basis.
Through the years it seems that everyone and their dog would be selling the next big thing and they would be doing it on a daily basis. The costs would be anywhere between 19.99 and 49.99
I'm not saying this was acceptable but at least I didn't feel so bad after buying a 20 buck ebook.
Well in the last 6 months I have noticed a scary trend. These so called gurus are taking advantage of many people being desperate and the prices have risen incredibly. On a daily basis I am now seeing the next best thing with prices starting at 300 bucks and going into the 1000s.
The gurus know many people are desperate and don't care about taking people last money.
Anyone thinking of affiliate marketing please don't fall for these high priced items.
I started with no money and now I do spend a few dollars on a few needed tools but none of them are the next best thing.
Just please don't fall for the high priced items. For the most part you can find the same info for free or on much lower priced items.
I already get the occasional email from a guru here and there asking me why I tell people this.
My answer is always the same.
When I started working online I made a commitment that I would never make money by scamming people and to this day over 2 years later I do make money and have never scammed a single person.
So once again I plead for you to stay away from all those high priced programs that are coming out everyday.
I totally agree, anything that looks gimmicky, promises massive returns from hardly any work, or claims to have a secret that no-one else knows is a con, and there are a lot of them around.
I would easily say that 98% of the offers I get in my email for new internet marketing tools, books, software or whatever are all garbage.
Most of the time others I just don't need.
Dont get me wrong I do have a few tools I use that I pay for and I do buy the occasional ebook but I really do investigate first.
Who would buy some content that you can get on the internet for free. If its 1000 dollars, it should have at least 300+ pages filled with content
Many times people dont know how to go about getting stuff for free or many programs or books have the research done so its less time consuming.
However at the end of the day most of the books are just enough info to have the people wanting and needing more.
I lately saw a training course for the low fee of $1700 per day for two days, a transcript of the course would be another 250, and then emailed corespondence after the two days would be 500 dollars a month.
I couldnt believe the course was sold out. I checked in closer and found out I get the exact same info for a course I took that was only 30 dollars a month.
That really is a ridiculous amount of money.
Whats more ridiculous is people paying that amount of money. It is a testament to the gurus sales ability but doesnt make them good people.
The internet is like bacteria. it evolves much faster than we can comprehend. The vast majority of 'products' available are out of date before you buy them. google constantly moves the goal posts turning once valid information into worthless rubbish.
I agree totally that these high priced items are no where near worth it.Even if you found one that worked, 1 month later it would no longer be relevant.
Spread the good word, research constantly if you want to do well and save your cash.
I absolutely agree. I do pay for autoresponder service, hosting, domain names and one course that does keep updated.

I thought it would be uplifting, to hear remarks about the best thing in our day...or any day.For me, I reached a new goal at work, I'm going out to dinner with Hubby and Middle Son, we'll eat burgers and listen to some live music....and it's a beautiful day, even if I am in Florida. ...

What is the best thing to eat when you have a hangover?I've heard greasy food is best and I've heard others say all healthy salad and veggies work better.
