Are you happy with the quality of your most recent hub?
If you're not what would you do to make it better?
Yes - I am happy with . . . .virtually all of my most recent hubs. I could definitely make them all longer - but I think that sometimes that is counter productive, as a web page reader tends to have a somewhat limited attention span.
I've got four and five thousand word hubs with all kinds of links, pictures, videos, and other stuff in them. . . .and they do NOT do nearly as well as hubs between 750 1500 words. Still though, some of my better ones are a bit more with the word count - but over 2500 words - I think folks are just wasting it. That's my experience though.
Yes, I am mostly satisfied. I like the last sentence of my most recent hub.
I tend to keep my hub word count between 511 and 813 words. I find that too much longer means I have not been able to be concise enough.
Yes am happy with mine as I wouldnt publish it if I wasnt
Yes, extremely pleased . My last hub was the last in a series of three that I ended up spending the entire day to do, because someone asked a question that sparked some inspiration. Since then, all three hubs have been getting good traffic and very insightful comments.

I always make sure iam happy with every hub if im not then i dont publish them
Yes. My most recent Hub was of high quality. It includes a lot of information that anyone who does home improvements or any kind of maintenance project on their home can use.

The thing that makes a high quality Hub is doing proper research and taking the time to write a good Hub. It is obvious when someone throws a Hub together with little effort. That said, my biggest problem is finding time to put into writing my Hubs, which is why most of the time I do one Hub per week.

Along with the Google effect lately I've seen a lot of forum posts about spam, and every time I hub hop it is obvious that there is a lot submitted here of both spam and simply substandard hubs.I would suggest that the following rules apply to the first 5 (or 10 or 20?) hubs by any new...

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

What happened to my little blue tip box I have become so attached to? I let me know how many words I had, if an image was not clear enough, and let me know when my hub was presentable and ready to publish.

If the minimum words for a hub is set 200 HP will get rid of a thousands of sub-standard contents automatically. No hub should be allowed to publish until it has at least 200 words. If possible 300 words. Poems can be the only exception.

On another thread, a Hubber suggested that if HubPages had a minimum word count, it would prevent some spammers.I know that a very low word count can get a Hub flagged as substandard, but perhaps it's set too low at the moment?

My goal is to write 50,000 words for the month of MarchI am setting this goal so I can get back into the swing of things because it has been a while since I have submitted anything to Hub Pages. This is how I will attempt to do this:Submitting new hubs. I am finishing up my...
