How does hubpages calculate earnings for its ad program?
Hello, does anyone know how HP calculates earnings for its ad program. I guess it is cost per impression, but what are the rates?
I honestly don't know, sorry. I'll be interested to see others' answers.
Per click, which is less than impressions (just looks). I just learned that.
My understanding is that the new HubPages Ad Program pays per impression. If you have activated it, you can see how much impressions per thousand (CPM or cost per thousand) are worth by going to your account page, clicking on earnings and then clicking the Hub Pages Ad Program.
The Google Adsense program, on the other hand, pays per cllick.
you earn considerable amount from hubpages ad progam only you have lots of lots of traffic.
Adsense is better as it pays per click. If yo can do keyword research and choose keywords that has high cost and has high click though rate, adsense is better than any other option.

Some people have said they've turned off HP Ads and just use Adsense and actually make more money from Adsense. I'm considering trying that out and was curious how much more some of you are making just through Adsense. Fifty percent more? Twice as much? Triple? Quadruple?

This month my CPM for the HP Ad Program is super low. It's been under $1.50 every day so far. And last month I had a lot of days where it was under $2. Wondering why that is and if it's just happening to me or if others are experiencing this as well.
