   DJ Funktual, was wondering if you give some tips on making hip hop mixes for DJ-ing
   
   I have a numark mixtrack pro where the majority of my music is hip hop. Sometimes I also like to mix samples with those hip hop records. But I've never been able to make a playlist that is satisfying to me and sounds good.

   I think a lot of people think that dj'n is as simple as learning how to mix two song with similar beats and similar bars of music together, but from my years of experience i can tell you right now that its not.
   
   You must be familiar with music on many levels to make a great Dj.
   
   knowing beats and instruments and songs and artists as well as understanding your equipment and more, all go into developing an ear for music and the mixing should come naturally after that.
