Do the blue and red triangle on our stats page indicate traffic to those hubs?
Or do they indicate the general traffic through tag searches and search engine date?
They indicate traffic to the specific hubs that the arrows are featured on within a 24 hour time span, I believe.
yes they indicate wether or not the average traffic to you page increases or decreases per day.
Hello davenmidtown, the triangles give an indication of increasing or decreasing traffic to a particular hub.
The red triangle points to increasing traffic, a blue triangle indicates decreasing traffic.
They indicate relative increases to the hub itself and not whether the hub is being recorded in search engine pages.
I have found that traffic generally increases if the hub is highlighted in a particular hub topic front page. So for instance if I have an increase in a hub on blindness, and I look to the visual disorder page often one of my hubs may be being highlighted.
Hope this helps.
Thank you all. I asked the question because I see these triangles but do not see any increase in hub views. Sometimes a hub will rise as much as 10 hub score points with a red triangle but the total views ever number never changes. SEO works off of key word searches so it would also make sense that those blue and red triangle may be affected by key word searches or tags... I think if I saw traffic to a specific hub with a triangle indicator it would make more sense... but some hubs have no traffic and yet they have a red triangle.... comments? PS... This is the only response I can make to this set of questions...

This is what I have observed with my hubscore. After publishing a hub and leaving comments on other hubs, I get lots of traffic but the hubscore falls by the hour. When I stay away from HubPages for a few days, and the traffic drops to nothing, the hubscore starts to climb and reaches an all-time...

I just noticed a blue arrow next to a hub I published this week. It's in the list of my hubs under my account page. What does it mean? It isn't the hub with the most views, unless it's a hub with the most views in the shortest amount of time, I do not know.

I am starting to learn how to social bookmark. I've been doing it on twitter, facebook, igoogle, digg, delicious, diigo, my blogs, pingomatic and a few other places. I have only been doing it on some of these sites for the last four or five days. It probably takes a while to see...

I've been updating and removing hubs. I haven't settled on a plan for good hubs that don't get traffic. Curious what others do. My top 40 hubs are 85% of traffic. I culled the heard and have been focused on my best hubs.Once I'm through them I'll come up with a plan for the rest.
