Ladies, would you rather have a man that's verbal with his emotions?

As opposed to the strong silent type that holds everything in?

I do have a man show is open with his emotions--he might not be silent but he is definitely the strong type.  Not sure I could deal with someone who doesn't tell me how he feels.

Yes, I would  rather have a man who's verbal with his emotions.  He should be able to communicate what and how he is feeling intelligently.  On the other hand, I would not like him to be too emotional -- as I think that would undermine his masculinity a bit.

There, of course are pluses for the strong, silent type.  For example, the strong silent type may be a good listener. The trouble with this type is you never know for sure what he is really thinking.  Also there may come a time when he lets out all of his emotions verbally -- which may not be pleasant.   Even though he is not talking, he may be thinking about a lot of things.

If a  man is verbal with his emotions, he's ok by me.

It's very frustrating living with a man who does not freely share his emotions.  He bottles them up and then one day let's them all come out leaving you feeling confused and frustrated.  You never know when he is taking what you say to heart or just ignoring you or just doesn't care.  So yes, definitely would rather a have a man show can be verbal with his emotions.

The strong silent type can be the same man as the man that's verbal. It depends on who he's with.

I'm very easy in expressing myself but my boyfriend is not. He needs to trust someone first. Now that he does he opens up much easier even though I sometimes see him struggling with emotions.

When he feels supported, loved and accepted, opening up feels good. As if releasing the tension, knowing he will be heard. It all depends on patience, love and the will of both persons to try and understand one another.

It's always better to know where you stand, so the more open the communication, the better.
