Do you have any quick-fix remedies for tiredness?

It may be the time of year - days getting shorter, weather getting colder etc, but I feel I am not the only one suffering from a general feeling of malaise, tiredness, fatique and overall despondency. Have you any suggestions - vitamins, energy boosting foods, activities etc that you have found to help with these symptoms?

Regular sleep.  Learn what to eat not to eat.

Research Body Building supplements and those used for CFS like Creatine Monohydrate, Ribose, and Malic Acid.

I'm not much of an exercise freak, but when I swim or go for a brisk walk or anything at all I definitely feel better. I have more energy and my mental state improves too! I live where we get 5 feet of snow in winter, so I have turned to water walking at my local Y.

Also, I am using the vitamins and Adaptisol supplement from the women-women website: womentowomen.com. I would think they would ship to the UK.

don't fill yourself up with meals ... good breakfast ... better to eat 3 snack type meals after that instead of 2 full meals. (keep the oil level down)

also get some multi-vitamin tablets ... one a day for a month or 45 days.

get some sun ... sit in the park or something to get some direct sunlight.

These look like good tips so far, try eating strawberries every afternoon, and do some research on taking chlorophyll.  Also, make sure you have adequate lighting during the day, and that you don't have an underlying health issue should you follow good tips and still have a problem.

I'm a tea addict. Green tea seems to perk me up when I'm feeling a little tired. I also try to avoid things like pastas and breads when I'm trying to stay awake, because these things seem to make me want to take a nap asap.
