What One Bad Habit, That Your Partner Has, Bugs You The Most?
For me it's toe nail clippings everywhere but in the trash bucket!! This sets me off like a banshee! It's revolting!
Not backing me up in front of the kids whether I'm right or wrong. That bugs the crap out of me.
When I had a long-time partner - some time ago - the one thing that really got me and drove me crazy was...snoring. Every single night the guy had to snore his way through his sleep pattern that sounded like a bulldozer drilling holes through our walls.
He tried all sorts of things to try and stop the snoring and I know he felt bad, but nonetheless, I was the one that suffered the most - practically no sleep!
If I managed to get a few hours, that was great and I would stop the snoring for a while by nudging him to turn over.
People suggested that we sleep in separate rooms - we did and I still heard the noise, because late at night, every sound can be heard in a magnified way.
We eventually parted company - not due to the snoring - and slept in separate houses. That solved the problem of the snoring alright, but other problems arose then and nothing to do with snoring.
So nowadays, I have to say, in a crazy kind of way, I MISS THE SNORING ! What does that say?
My wife had a bad habit of ignoring my advice, council. One time I wanted to see a short film after church but she wanted to visit her cousin shelley. Shelley was gonna be home all day, the film would have took fifteen minutes. "You go watch it, I will wait in the car." she said. So I just drove her straight to shelleys. When we got there within five minutes shelley told her about the film,[We attended the same church at different times,] My wife says to her, "Oh, I would have liked to seen that!" Boy was I mad!
mine ties his socks in a sort of knot when he puts them in the washing basket ...I have to undo them which really annoys me !
I cant complain about the snoring because aparantly I do it as well !!
My boyfriend leaves empty containers everywhere. For example, I cleaned out under his bathroom sink the other day and found 5 empty plastic toilet paper wrappers. If he finishes a bottle of wine, he will leave the empty bottle on the counter or put it under the sink (that's not where our trash or recycling are). New citronella candle on the patio? The cardboard cover will be stuffed somewhere. I could go on and on....
He's very good about replacing things that are out, at least, and is otherwise very tidy. Maybe he just gets distracted by the replacement angle. At any rate, finding caches of trash drives me up the wall!
She is a great woman and I love her dearly, but I do wish that she would learn to pick things up, not just leave them any old place.
