What part of "Comments are not for promoting your Hubs or other sites" don't you understand?
I think its wrong to ignore the HP rules...and I think all such comments should be spammed. Am I wrong on this?
This is one reason why a lot of people moderate their comments section
There's nothing wrong with giving someone a link to a hub, providing that it's relevant to the content of the hub it's being left on and I personally would ask/request permission to place the link before doing so. Linking to outside sites or leaving links to outside sites, if not relevant to the content should be marked as SPAM, but that might not be possible to do, which is why moderation of hubs is left up to the author.
There are plenty hubbers who choose to use the option of moderating comments before they are published, which is what I advise you to do. This would make your claim with regards to your posed question wrong.

I know it says under each...

Since this feature was deleted, HP staff have told us that this would be reinstated. It does not matter to all of us, but I know that in my case the readers find it very helpful. PROBLEM: Whenever I write a hub on a controversial subject, a number of people create new, fake hub accounts solely for the purpose of posting negative comments and feedback on my hubs and/or threatening me anonymously. These new hubbers have 0 (zero) hubs and no other activity, and they are never...

Why are there no comment boxes on your hubs?I have gone to two of your hubs (canine arthritis and children's playhouse) and neither has a place to enter a comment. I tried closing out and going back in but still no comment section??

For the past few days some of the comments that I've made on my hubs and some of the comments from visitors to my hubs have posted two or even three times. I've seen double posts in the comments section of other people's hubs, too. When I'm making the comment I know that I haven't clicked the...
