just remember to do your best and that one test does not hold you down as a failure. And also that you can always try again. I recently thought of these two things about three days ago for my driver's liscence and did really well also because I know practiced hard enough and felt prepared.

I choose to focus on the positive things about myself. I tell myself that I am smart, or I wouldn't even be taking the test. I focus on the fact that I studied for the test and tell myself that I'm ready for the test. And I always remember that no test defines whether I'm a success or failure at being a good person or bad, the test only tells me what I knew on the subject matter that is being tested.

Hmmm...I've heard a lot of opinions about this.  There are things you can do in terms of controlling your body since the body is connected to the mind and emotions (I just published a Hub on this in the bigger context of the topic of freedom if you are interested) so breathing slowly and calming your body is supposed to help.  Don't focus on not being fearful because that can attract more fear.  Focus on the positive--imagine and picture yourself doing well.  The biggest way to deal with fear when taking tests is to deal with the deeper root of fear, in general.  There's likely a cause as to why that fear is there in the first place.  Getting to that root and dealing with the real fear will be the best strategy in the long-run!

Knowing that I'd revising to the best of my ability. Try to spend time studying that you would otherwise have spent worrying smile. Also, get friends and family to test you if possible. Anything to give you a confidence boost will help.
