The tax levels are not the problem. We don't need to raise taxes...what we need to do is close the loop holes that many of the rich use. There are more than 3300 "special" tax breaks, in the tax code, for the wealthy and large corporations. Raising the taxes will not solve anything as long as those special tax breaks are there.
No. The rich are the ones who employ those less fortunate. They provide jobs and purchase from companies to spread the money around. They are an important part in our economy.

Who do you consider the rich? Everyone should pay their fair share. Something is wrong when close to 50% do not pay any federal taxes. There are 25 jobs bills passed by the Republican House sitting in the Democrat led Senate waiting for a vote.
There are some 14million unemployed that would be happy to pay taxes IF THEY HAD A JOB.
