Write about what you know and belive in. Be passionate about what you write. Organize the writing into many capsules - use headings. Do your research. Don't use the work of others, read, learn, and create your own work.

Start a website too and have your blogs revolve around your website so that when one of your blogs fail because of some silly reason out of your control, you still have your website to go back to.

Learn the SEO basics and social media techniques required to have a successful presence online.  If you choose titles that have words that are not searched often inside of google then you will never be found by the masses of internet users.  The Google keyword tool is free and at least can provide a guide for words that may be better to pursue than others.  It is not 100% accurate nor give you the exact level of competition from an SEO perspective to be successful in reaching the top of Google natural search it is a great place to start with your keyword research.

After you have picked your keywords write high quality and knowledge packed articles and blog posts that people enjoy reading and sharing with others.

Here are a few sites I use to start the social sharing of hubs that I write here at hubpages.  As mentioned setting up your own blog is a great thing to do and can be done easily at dreamhost with the wordpress install tool. http://czczcz.hubpages.com/hub/Easy-Hub … 10-minutes

First of all, know what you want to blog. Once you have decided, choose where you want to write such as blogger, wordpress or even HubPages.

Take your time to blog and I would suggest blog for fun for a few months first. once you have get used to it, go into serious blogging and focus on ads revenue for some side income.

    Good luck!
