Wow, that's a good one!  The purpose of my life is to spread love and happiness to all those I can.  To be a good Mother to my kids and a loving Wife to my husband.  Not much of a definition of purpose of life but it's what I'm on this wonderful planet for smile  I looked it up on Yahoo! and there's so much out there on the purpose of life.  Might have to take notes on other peoples ideas.  What is YOUR thought on it???

The true purpose of this life, is first and without any doubt to Live .

When this is fully and "Sincerely" understood , note I said "Sincerely" it requires "your truth" Then we can all joyfully go about our own merry way, seeking our own individual purpose.

Starting with the example shown to you by your parents, you will quickly grow and learn to pick sense out of whatever position they are possibly at. You can grow to teach your parents, give a more profound guidance, with your sincere truth.

In some places it is a must, that you follow in your parents footsteps . Even in these places, one will still find his true purpose, life will always show you.

My humble recommendation is for every one, is to try starting with your belief . If you have not found it , you "Must" search for and find it, It usually finds you. We as humans do come with one. What some humans do in life, is to deny this.
Then their life becomes a constant struggle, a confusion.

The true purpose of life is live knowing that there is a purpose and you must not stop until you find it!.

    Bless.

To impact others lives with love and kindness and, by so doing, reap tremendous happiness for yourself.

If everyone lived with this belief, the world would be a much more loving and peaceful place. I can dream can't I?

The purpose of life is... GOD. The purpose of life is to learn to be love and to give love not to your partner and those you can only but to everyone and nature. The purpose of life is that you make many experiences through reincarnations that will bring you to the ultimate Knowledge (GOD). Thank you for letting me share my opinion with you. With Love.

The purpose of life?  Are you serious!  You have something that many lost at an early age or maybe it was taken from them and you have no idea what to do with it!

thank you for your answer guys. I recently come to notice my purpose in life. before I do mention that I just want to ask everybody another question... what in this life is guaranteed to every each indiviual?...

    some may say...????

    only death

Death is the only thing that is guaranteed in this life, and nothing but death.

    my purpose in life
to worship god and associate nothing with him

I not going to explain in to depth why this is my purpose but i will touch on my aruguement for it.

It dont make sense that my purpose would be to live to only, lets say go clubbing once a week blowing away my pay cheque when on the other side of  the planet my brothers and sister of mankind can starve?... id say selfish! or even to just sleep 24/7...why have i got a brain again? i might as well have been born a fish! :0. God created us for one reason which was just to worship him. Not to worship idols.

To even understand why this is my purpose i think your going to have to understand the idea of God. Please do contact me If you want to understand my purpose further and i will be glad to tell you my story smile.

p.s sorry late reply CassyLou1981 i got caught up at uni! smile

There is no defined purpose unless you create one. Our species is alive to procreate and multiply under environmental control. Some people create purpose by enjoying the relationships with their family, others find meaning through their job or their studies. Many find a purpose through organised religion so that they claim they live for their god or leader, or to glorify and increase the power of their god. Others find meaning through contemplation or meditation and discover an individual meaning to life for themselves. Other people like me think life has no meaning at all and only live from day to day, according to how attractive the next day is likely to be.
