How do you deal with the stress of life?

What brings stress upon us, can we do anything to control it?

Stress is mental, and I've found that physical activity really helps keep it at low levels, as does meditation.

For some reason, I bake.  My wife knows it's been a really bad day when she comes home to the smell of fresh muffins.  If she smells fresh bread, she knows someone is going to get it!

Acknowledge it and then begin changing what I don't like with little steps. Mainly I find out where I'm not feeling 'safe'..it's a big indicator for me. Also, stress is reflecting back what is ready to be changed.  Just what I've learned. Great question!

Stress is a silent killer, sometimes we do not even know that we are stressed out because we run around and do the same work load daily, having normal fears, worries and not really recognizing them. Some ways we can help ourselves is by taking time out, getting long spa treatments and nice hot stone messages. The white sandy Beaches and the beautiful crystal clear blue Ocean has some majical powers and  just by the sight of it, it just re-energizers. If you happen to have your honey beside you, along with the natures best, Green Coconut drinks, Pineapple, Passion Fruit or Mango juice, then the world is yours.

Constantly trying to remain unstressed. Coffee in the morning to relax my nerves and calm myself. Watching tv during working out, doing homework, and eating. This way I'm busy and relaxed. Visiting my boyfriend every other day. He always knows how to calm me down. Listening to Irish music before I sleep or when I wake up from a bad nights sleep or a really stressful day. Drinking black or earl grey tea. Lighting my wonderful candles to relax me.
