Given a choice would you like to live your life the way you lived it this time?

If you would want to change one thing what would it be?

truthfully i would 'unmake' a few decisions i made that ended up being game changers for me...not necessarily in a negative way but game changers none the less....hind sight is always 2/20....
despite that, i would not choose a do-over as who knows....a do-over may not turn out as well has this journey as to this date...which, by the way, has been quite an adventure-filled one.

My lack of patience and nothing else I would like to change. I would love to be as I am at present and I do not want any change in my emotional attachments as well as no big expectations for me. I am a simple person, living in a middle class family and I am very contented so there is no complications in my life. Thus, I don't want to mess with my life..

Being an avid movie watcher, as soon as I saw this I thought of The Butterfly Effect. We never know what consequences our decisions will have or how they will change our lives. If we made a bad choice, we assume the consequences will be negative but we never know if that negative consequence may be what changes our life for the best. Think of drug addicts who od and find themselves forever changed by a great rehab program and their near-death experience. Also think of criminals who find a life-changing experience in jail. While I am not proud of every decision I have made or how I have handled every decision I have made, I am unsure I would want to change how I have lived because it may produce a different person who is not as educated about life, compassionate about others, and empathetic about others' situations. Who is to say those things I wish I had done differently if done another way wouldn't produce an outcome that is unfavorable and result in me being someone other than who I am?

The choices that we make in life lead us down different paths, and so long as we make the best of the paths that we chose, there is no need to change anything.

But I have always been curious as to what my life would have been like if I had never met that person, or decided on a different career, or ... the forks in the road are endless.

So, given a choice to live my life over, I would live it in a completely different way.  And, at the end of that life if given the same choice, I would choose yet another way to live.  How I wish I have a thousand lifetimes, so that I could explore all the possible nooks and crannies.

Yes I would! I would not make the same mistake and live so long with a bad self-esteem. The lack of self-esteem has made me chasing after something that was already in me, prevented me from living my life as I really wanted and also made me into a smaller person, restricted, self-centred and a bit judgmental over others. I am perfectly content now, both with myself as a person and with my life, but I have wasted so many years when I was young! Whenever I spot a youth with the signs of low self-esteem, I just want to hug them and say that they are alright and that they must learn how to boost their own self-esteem because waiting for others to do it for them takes to much valuable time!

I would keep a lot of things the same, but would definetely change some things. I would change my reactions to certain situations so that the outcome is very different....

I'd like to make some other choices and I would definitely procrastinate less.  Having said that, I'd like to add that I am grateful for the the things I did right.

    Yes.

I am happy with my current life.

What I would change will be my schooling days. I would pay more attention so that I could learn more stuff in school to be prepared in working world.

Anyway, I am happy for the family I am having.
