Do you believe that the best man for president is the guy that never runs?
Power hungry aspiring leaders attract corrupt people willing to do anything to show loyality.
The reality today is you have to be willing to take abuse, scrutiny and spend a billion dollars to capture a $400,000 a year job that while in it half the people will hate you. I don't know why anyone worth having the job would want to undertake the process or grief to get it.
Any person who actively pursues the office has a fundamental flaw in his character - probably megalomania. That said, it probably helps to be flawed to be able to do the job. Career politicians are all flawed in character in that they cannot see the real world as it is. They see something that is centered around them.
Yes, I know, for a fact, that the "best man for president is the guy that never runs."
And the reason why I know that is true is I have not ran for that office and I never will. ;-)

Should a groomsman or best man have to pay for his own tuxedo? If you are asked to be in a wedding party as a groomsman or a best man, shouldn't the bride and groom pay for all of the tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses?

With all of the political hidden agenda, we never truly know what politicians have our best interest in mind. Should all politicians be required to take lie detector tests before and during office?

Do you think that President Obama should be re-elected? Personally, I do not believe he should. However, that may be because I am a conservative who prefer a likeminded leader. Also, I honestly believe that the president is not serious about bringing fiscal responsibility to the federal government....
