   What would you give to find your soulmate?
   
   What kind of sacrifice would you be willing to make to meet your true 'other half'? And if you've already found yours, what would you be willing to do to keep him/her?

   This quote is from a Zen Master and forgive me, I do not remember his name right now. "If you seek, I know you cannot see". Therefore do not seek. Let him or her find you instead. If it is the right one, then there would be no doubt whatsoever. You will know it and he or she will know it, and despite the normal challenges of being on this plane, he or she will find you.

   there are no soulmates in this world. every person is subject to different stimuli and has a different genetic code.There are millions of permutations of all these interacting in zillions of ways to create a personality which cannot be duplicated.Each individual is unique and has unique needs and hence saying that there exists a person who fulfills all of them and whose needs we at the same time fulfill is a statistical impossibility .
   To my mind this is only a romantic illusion created by people to not work on existing relationships.You see so many affairs conducted in the world because one thinks one has found a soulmate and then after a few days/months/weeks it dawns that THE sm is not a SM at all and the search begins all over again.
   Those that say they have found their soulmates are the ones who have worked on relationships till each side has changed enough over time to become almost similar, or at least accepting of differences.So to my mind the question is not correct at all..
   regretfully unromantic but true and responsible.I remember reading somewhere the other day "love is not an emotion. it is a choice",so is finding a soul mate.

   I'm willing to leave my country just to be with him. He's the love of my life. I know i can never find anyone like him in this lifetime. I love you Jim.
