   I don't know much about this topic, but I've read many people claim that hubs on how to make money on the internet get a lot of traffic.

   Oh Boy - That's the million dollar question!  If we knew the answer to that we'd all be writing on whatever subject.  No one really knows what brings in the most money, I wish I had some easy answers for you but I don't.

   It depends upon your hub score and your activity overtime. I have seen that if you have a large number of followers, you will naturally get more traffic. And you right hubs on those topics which people are actually interested in, you will get decent number of visitors which means good amount of money. I am saying from my experience. Even I dont have much hubs but good number of followers fetches me decent money.

   Although I haven't followed this tactic here, I know from experience and from other websites and blogs, that opinionated-style posts make the least amount of money.  When it comes to making more money with your writing, you'll need topics, titles, and lots of content that relates to things that people often make queries about and/or search for.  Web pages featuring creative writing, short stories, poetry or random ramblings, for example, is a lot harder to get natural search engine traffic, clicks, sales, whatever, as opposed to informative posts, product reviews, how-to advice, or interesting subjects that are highly searched for.  There are endless amounts of topics a person could write about, but keep in mind, when it comes to making money via PPC (pay per click) or by way of affiliate sales, effectiveness doesn't always come from what you may think is your best work.
   
   It's often a mechanical process with a hint of SEO.
   
   Now, if you're talking about which genres make the most money per advert click on average, you can search online for that, but it mainly just depends on how competitive the search terms are, that you are ranking high for.  Blah!  I've rambled enough for one question; good luck with the revenue!

   I try to see things from the reader's  perspective.  What kinds of things would they search for?  What do they not know how to do that I can teach them?  I went through my entire life and tried to think of things I had searched, and try to write a hub about that.  If I have searched for it, others are probably searching as well.
   
   The key is to write evergreen topics - things that will stand the best of time, so that people will still be searching for info on that topic years from now.
