Do you have one friend that has always been there for you? Tell us about them.
The one friend for me is Natasha, I met her at school in grade 6-she was in the 7th grade. At that time I had problems learning the german language but she understands my situation and helps me where she cans. After school we seperated..I was bussy with my Job and I haven´t heard from her anything. Through friends I was able to contact her and now we are still good friends. Even though she has a few problems in life, she helps me in everyway and I help her also. She is funny, smart and says what she thinks..nomatter how the situation end,she gives you the feeling that you are not alone. I can talk and tell her everything, she listens and says her point of view, even when we don´t agree. She is not only a friend but a sister and part of my life that I treasure the most.
My one friend that's always been there for me is my friend Tiffany. There came a point in my life where people weren't agreeing with my decisions (basically the boyfriend I had and where I was living) and she was the only one who stood by my side despite the fact that she also disagreed with my choices. It helped to have at least one person on my side. In the end, everything worked out and I'm still with the same boyfriend and living in the same place and I am extremely happy with how things are going. I think I couldn't have pushed through the tough times without her support.
On the other side, I've been that friend that's always been there for her. Tiffany suffered through the death of her father when we first met in fourth grade. That same year I promised her I would be her sister and I never broke it. Her depression following her father's death didn't really hit her until years later. Then, she decided to turn to alcohol, drugs, and a lifestyle full of risks. I watched her deteriorate and it broke my heart but I still stayed by her side while her friends and some of her family turned their back on her.
Now she's finished community college and just started going to a university last Fall. A week before she started class she called me up to tell me thank you for always being there for her. She told me that if it wasn't for me, she could never have gotten to where she is today.
It's rare to find friendship that lasts, especially through those tough times. This is something I have learned as the years go on and the number of people I keep in contact seems to dwindle. When you've got that real true friend, you just can't let go, even though it might be tough to hang on. Tiffany and I currently aren't talking because she's turned to drugs again but I'm waiting for that day she'll let me talk to her.
Yes - I actually have several of them. One has been a friend literally all my life; we don't live in the same state, but I know she is always there for me, and we still talk often. Another has been a friend since we met, more than 30 years ago - we are like sisters, and can read each other's minds. I also have friends and relatives I grew up with who have reentered my life in recent years, thanks to the Internet (and a few class reunions). I wouldn't trade them for anything - one of them is my regular traveling buddy and we have seen many places together. She is also like a sister.
These are people I can turn to when I'm upset, who will laugh at ridiculous things with me, break their diets with me, try on crazy clothes and make-up with me, cry with me when something tragic happens and celebrate with me when blessings come my way. I feel rich.

What person in your life has been constantly there to support you, even when everything else failed?

If you answered yes, then you may want to change your mind. It will only cause heartache and a broken friendship. I told one of my closest friends that her boyfriend was cheating on her and now we're no longer close. It hurts my heart because I didn't want to tell her but, the person he was...

Should I tell my friend her husband is having an affair? My other friends say she won't believe me, and I'll only end up looking like the bad girl! But if it was me, I'd want to know.
