I could do more if those in parliament stopped thinking about the next election and numbers and saw the elephant in the room. Throughout the world those in power tend to make plans to do something about global warming but totally ignore growing world population. Britain has suffered greatly from continuing migration. Australia is set to suffer in a similar fashion. People need to have fewer children when times are good so that the bad times aren't so bad. But how to get through to people steeped in religious folly? The united Nations knows we are headed for disaster if the overpopulation issue isn't addressed by all nations. But which country has the guts to get the ball rolling? Not the USA or the UK or Australia at the moment. Rudd, a recent Prime Minister of Australia, was all for a BIG Australia. This means condemning children into growing up in high-rises with less and less places that are green where they can play. This means less good food and less natural beauty for the eye to behold. In this respect Rudd was a monster. I hope he is remembered by future generations of Australians as being this monster that created so much ugliness and took away so much life and beauty from the country.

I think my "legacy" will be remembered. I am only 19 years old and hoping to study philosophy and Oxford University here in the UK in 3-4 years. I want to provide the truth and nothing but the truth to the world and reform society into something beautiful. I have been following this passion for 3 years now and have had tremendous success so far.

Hopefully my ideas will change the world for the better.

Apparently Rod thinks that killing off people is a good legacy and that stopping the mythical "global warming" is the key to leaving an improved world to future generations. Perhaps governments could also hunt down the Loch Ness, Big Foot and the Yeti, which are recking havoc, which is not a bad idea because at least that will stop government from instituting insane economic policies and devastating tax policies that in the long term cause more harm to future generations by saddling them with more debt.

That is like selling the unborn into indentured servitude, whilst enslaving those that are new born. Here is a news flash for all Big Government lovers: "stop digging"!! We need to start filling in the hole these government bureaucrats dug. As we fill in the hole people will be able to climb out themselves no thanks to government.

Apparently, government thinks they can solve the problem by continuing to digging the debt hole deeper and then buying a taller ladder. There comes an inflection point when the shear physics of the height of the ladder fails to support those climbing out of hole and the ladder breaks.

The legacy we are leaving is a less free, less prosperous, and more dangerous world.  And yet governments think that more of this is better! Brilliant strategy, if the objective is utter enslavement of mankind.

I feel like previous generations of those who should have valued me let me down. What didn't they think I would be interested in the details of their lives and the world they lived in?
For that reason, my following generations will remember me as the ancestor who thought about them and left a written record. From it they will learn what it was like to live in the United States during the 2nd half of the 20th century and the first few decades of the 21st. They will know what I was like and what I felt was important enough to pass on as family history and as advice for life and fulfillment. I hope that legacy will somehow help steer some of them toward right decisions in their lives even after I'm long gone.
